Joel and Stewart Schwadron opened the Auto Center in 1960. After Joel retired, Stewart and his son Gary continued to run it. Stewart retired in 2010, and Gary’s son David joined our auto repair business as a mechanic in 2013.

The family’s dream was to build a business that would serve the community while establishing a legacy of integrity and honesty in the auto repair business. It’s clear that the dream succeeded. We’re happy to be the hometown mechanic that people in Peekskill can count on.
